I have graduated in Systems and Computing Engineering from the University of Guelph in 2022.

I'm passionate about programming and learning new technologies. I have worked with various programming languages including C, Java, and Python. During my free time, I have decided to expand my technical knowledge by learning on my own time how to work with C#, HTML, CSS, and Javascript in order to build my own websites.

My latest interest is Cloud Computing, and learning how to work with AWS. As more companies start migrating to the cloud, I noticed that having cloud knowledge would be a great asset for any software developer to have. I have recently completed my second AWS certification, the Solutions Architect Association Certificate. As I continue on building my skill set in AWS, I am excited to share the knowledge I have learned and apply it into my future projects!

Associate Software Developer - Tehama

As an Associate Software Developer at Tehama, my primary responsibility was to build the testing infrastructure for Tehama desktops using AWS and run test harnesses with Pytest. To accomplish this, I wrote bash scripts that streamlined the infrastructure setup process, resulting in a simplified testing process that could be initiated with a single command. Additionally, I implemented a CoreDNS filtering plugin, which enabled users to select which URLs were accessible from the Tehama desktops.

Application Development and Computing Support - University of Guelph

Responsible for creating two web applications that greatly improved daily operations in the Hospitality Department. The first was a custom-built card generator application, which tracks and manages the university ID card needs of students and employees. The second was a time entry application that streamlined attendance tracking by allowing employees to swipe their university ID cards through a card reader for check-in and check-out times. Both applications were designed from scratch, and have been succesfully deployed around the campus.

DevOps Developer - Teskide.io

• Utilizing Grafana to design and configure customized dashboards for monitoring Docker Swarm metrics, enabling real-time visibility into server performance and application health.
• Streamlined the execution of PHP programs by automating them using Node-Red and MQTT tools, scheduling them to run at specific times each day, and allowing for more efficient use of resources.
• Deployed software applications seamlessly using Docker images, ensuring consistent environments and simplified deployment across multiple platforms and environments.

Software Consultant - Focus Softnet

As a software consultant, I travelled to different clients to provide updates and maintenance to the Focus 9 ERP software, ensuring that the system was running smoothly. I assisted clients with data entry services using Excel to import/export data from Focus 9, such as inventory records and customer orders, and created reports to provide them with valuable insights into their business operations. Additionally, had to implement a software for bar code scanners and provided training/guidance to the warehouse employees.

I studied at University of Guelph and graduated from my Systems and Computing Engineering degree in 2022. My program had a strong focus on software development with some key programming courses I have taken: Introduction to Programming, Intermediate Programming, Data Structures, Object Oriented Programming, Large-Scale Software Architecture, Software Systems Development and Integration.
