Ample experience with standard laboratory techniques such as distillation, extraction and titration.
Experience operating FTIR, GC/MS, XRD and UV/Vis machinery and analyzing resulting data in reports to a high degree. Ample experience in proper hazardous chemical waste disposal. Proficient in proper IPAC laboratory cleaning procedures. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments demonstrated by the various work positions.
Experience in matlab, MATHCAD and C coding at Toronto Metropolitan University. Ample experience with project management, organizing and leading meetings, creating and managing task documents, and maintaining communication channels. Proficient in Microsoft Word and MS Excel (Visual Basic and macros) from working in education, research, project management, laboratory and healthcare support.
Excellent problem solving skills, calm under pressure, take initiative. Proficient in Aspen Hysys 14, AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow, Aveva Pro II, and other modelling software. Proficient in gathering data using data analysis techniques as well as vendor communication.
Experience in data compilation and presentation.
