Anh Nguyen

Hey there! My name is Anh - a second-year Accounting student at the University of Calgary, interested in the intersection between accounting and business technology. My goal after graduation is to pursue the CPA designation hence, I am currently seeking relevant internships to improve my skills, knowledge, and marketability.

I am enthusiastic, self-driven, and love working in a dynamic environment where I get to push myself and learn new things from a wide variety of people. It would be my pleasure to hear and learn from professionals about their experience in the business world. Let's connect!

Ever since joining University, I have been actively looking out for new experiences and so far, have had the chance to work at a variety customer service roles such as being a crew member at McDonalds and a cashier at Shoppers Drug Mart. While these do not direcetly relate to my degree, they help me develop a lot of soft skills such as communications, teamwork, problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure. I am currently working as an administrative coordinator at the Lifemark Health Group.

Although the job is still mostly customer based, I have gained a variety of other great clerical skills such as Microsoft applications, bank reconciliations, consulting (phone etiquette), task management, and researching. I am always looking to gain any new and relevant experience in the business world, specifically Accounting.
