I am a national leader in health informatics, clinical terminology, and digital health standards, with more than 25 years of experience advancing interoperability across Canada and internationally. I currently serve as Manager, Standards at Canada Health Infoway, leading strategic initiatives that underpin semantic interoperability, standards adoption, and national data alignment.

My expertise spans FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC (including Document Ontology), UCUM, value set governance, and terminology servers, with hands-on leadership in pan-Canadian implementation guides, patient summary programs, eReferral/eConsult standards, and jurisdictional value set harmonization.

I am a health informatics and standards leader with over 25 years of experience advancing digital health interoperability across Canada and internationally. My background spans clinical practice, international consulting, and public-sector leadership, with deep expertise in semantic interoperability, terminology services, and standards-based health system transformation.

I hold a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc Hons) and am a Certified Health Information–Certified Associate (HICA) through CHIMA. My education is grounded in clinical science and health information management, forming the foundation for my leadership in health informatics, digital health standards, and interoperability.
