I have completed my bachelor's in Petrochemical Engineering and have worked with Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemical LTD for 7 years as a senior process engineer. Later I came to Calgary to pursue a Master's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary.

• Led and managed the company's two chemical plants (Methanol plant and Formic acid plant) and climbed the position of Senior Process Engineer during my 7 years of work experience,
• Daily monitoring of process parameters and recommend process set point adjustments to maintain product quality criteria.
• Keeping a close watch on the reformer furnace temperature and pressure, monitoring the reformer tube skin temperature to deduce any abnormalities inside the reformer tube, and adjusting parameters on the basis of reformer outlet gas composition.
• Offering technical assistance for process optimization, economic assessments, and plant maintenance.
• Improving plant efficiency by mitigating fuel and energy wastage and consequently decreasing production costs.
• Conduct field trips on daily basis to ensure the smooth operation of all the equipment and to identify any abnormalities or leaks.
• Designing of the heat exchanger on HTRI, sizing pumps, compressors, piping stress calculation, sizing pressure safety valves, and control valves.
• Performing process optimization and simulation with the help of ASPEN HYSYS software.
• Creating P&ID and updating the existing P&ID by incorporating ChemCAD and AutoCAD software.
• Strictly following environmental norms along with the knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO-14001, and OHSAS

18000 standards.

• Performing HAZOP and PHA of all the new process modifications and innovations.
• Effectively handling plant shutdown activities like reformer and reactor catalyst changing job, heat exchanger tube hydro jetting, heat-exchanger chemical cleaning, and conducting internal vessel inspection.

Master in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering with a specialization in chemical engineering.
