A little bit about me, I am a Medical Doctor from Colombia, who immigrated to Canada to pursue a dream in clinical research and now passionate about medical affairs. I have a MSc in experimental Surgery from McGill University and I have started my journey as a Clinical Research Coordinator. I am very self driven and I am looking for my next life challenge.
Clinical Research has been a part of me since I started my Medical Degree and I have been exponentially learning in the past 3 years at my current role. My responsibilities have included overseeing academic, industry, and investigator-initiated studies in phases II-IV, with sponsors including AbbVie, Janssen, Novo Nordisk, and Abbott. In addition, I have been involved in feasibility, site selection, document development and review, as well as patient recruitment and retention initiatives. With my excellent communication skills, I have built strong partnerships with CRO CRAs, investigators, site staff, and other external parties.
