Anosan Uthayakumar

I am a Electrical Engineering and Management student at McMaster University who is energetic to further advance acquired skills gained during degree studies and previous work experience.

I possess machining and hardware skills that I have obtained through the courses I have taken. Through those courses I have designed and manufactured many items, including a phone amplifier, rings, and several complex circuits using Lathes, A2D boards, and CNC Machines. In addition, I have great teamwork and interpersonal communication abilities as prior to this I have worked with DHL Logistics as a Forklift Operator in which I troubleshot and diagnosed mechanical issues, completed basic repairs, and conducted preventive maintenance actions to keep equipment functional.

During my first year at McMaster University, I achieved an 3.9 GPA, putting me in the top 15% of first year students and enabled me to be accepted into the Golden Key International Honour Society. As part of the McMaster Engineering Custom Vehicle Team, my role as a builder is to help debug and fix problems with the vehicles in which I have gained experience in AutoCAD, coding, and mechanical skills.
