Ariane Comeau

Professional in document management and archiving, with a solid experience in sorting, classifying, and preserving administrative and heritage archives. Passionate about the preservation and enhancement of collections and heritage, I am seeking to contribute to projects where my skills in museology can be put to good use.

I have six years of professional experience at Revenu Québec, where I worked in clientele service. During my tenure, I handled a variety of tasks, including managing client calls and digitizing and organizing documents. This role honed my communication skills and my ability to manage and classify large volumes of information efficiently.

Additionally, this year, I began volunteering at Archives Passe-Mémoire (APM), where I am responsible for classifying archives. This volunteer position has further developed my organizational skills and my passion for preserving historical records

I have pursued an extensive academic background focused on art history, museology, and information management. Currently, I am undertaking a Certificate in Information and Archives Management at UQAM. Prior to this, I completed a Diploma of Higher Specialized Studies in Museology at Laval University (2022-2023). Additionally, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Art History with a concentration in Museology and Art Diffusion from UQAM (2019-2022).
