About
Hard-working, reliable and hands-on plumbing apprentice candidate seeking an entry-level position in the plumbing field. Graduate of the Skilled Trades College (Vaughan) pre-apprentice plumbing program with 3 months of hands-on training and currently working in plumbing with PD HVAC Services Inc. Skilled in roughing in bathroom installations and installing fixtures, reading plumbing drawings, and working safely to the Ontario Plumbing Code.
Fluent in English and Punjabi, a quick learner who takes direction well, shows up on time, and is committed to completing an apprenticeship and earning a trade certification.
Experience
Plumbing at PD HVAC Services Inc. (2026-09 – Present)
- Assist journeyperson plumbers with residential plumbing installations and rough-ins
- Cut, fit and install ABS and copper piping according to drawings and code
- Install plumbing fixtures including toilets, sinks, tubs and lavatories
- Prepare, carry and organize tools and materials; keep work areas clean and safe
- Follow all site safety rules and use proper personal protective equipment
Work Experience Placement at Skilled Trades College (2026-01 – 2026-03)
- Completed 3 months of hands-on plumbing training in a shop and lab environment
- Practiced rough-in of bathroom installations and fixture installation
- Cut and joined cast iron and ABS pipe; soldered copper pipe
- Read and worked from plumbing blueprints and drawings
- Learned and applied the Ontario Plumbing Code and safe tool handling procedures
