I started working in the hotel industry about 9 years ago as a guest services representative for The Econo Lodge Inn and suites, a Franchise hotel in rural Texas. I continued my hospitality career in San Diego for several years and worked at the Hacas Inn in Bamfield for the last year.
I remain calm under pressure, have strong problem-solving abilities and possess the communication skills needed to work with different types of personalities. I understand the pressure that comes from operating property's independently during my shift, so I thrive in almost any type of environment especially under pressure. I use these traits to handle escalations from guests when they arise and resolve all problems in a satisfactory manner. Additionally, I am almost done completing my associates degree in Business Administration.

As a Front Desk Agent my responsibilities are to welcome guests when they check in or out of the property. Entering guests data in our system and posting charges and collecting payment for rooms and services, following all cash handling procedures. Handing all guest questions and concerns during my shift. Although this property did not have a night audit, I was responsible for verifying that all end-of-day tasks have been completed by other departments during my closing shift.
