I have lived in Alberta for 19 years and Fort McMurray for 15 years. I have master’s degree in Applied Chemistry from Bangladesh and certificate in Record and Information Management from Mohawk College, Ontario. I have over 5 years of experience in oil gas and construction environment in project coordination and document control. I have always been a top performer wherever I worked. My life experiences have strengthened me to become a diligent, thorough, respectful, kind, assertive, and competent individual. Having work as a contractor, now I am looking for a permanent position.
My career path has not been straight. Immigrating to Canada in 2001 held many challenges that required adaptability, patience, and new learning. For approximately 4 years I worked in the health care industry as a nurse and clinic administrator. My strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills sharpened during this period and were critical to my success. I moved to Fort McMurray in 2009 and, while raising a family, eventually obtained a Records and Information Management Certificate from Mohawk College, Asset Planning and Management and Administrative Assistant Suite certificates from Keyano College. These have enabled and supported me during 10+ years of competently working for Oil Sands contracting companies in project roles performing Document Control, Asset Information Management, and Project Coordination. My professional and technical span of expertise, including the utilization of many software tools, represents my capacity to manage complications, collaborate productively with others, and excel in all my job responsibilities.
