Baraa Abdelsamad

I'm a MASc student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UBC with a strong focus on AI, machine learning, and data science. My research at UBC's RCL lab involves developing advanced machine learning models for medical applications. Previously, I served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Alberta, where I was recognized with the Graduate Student Teaching Award. I hold a BEng in Systems and Biomedical Engineering from Cairo University, graduating with a GPA of 3.9.

I have expertise in Python, C++, Java, R, PyTorch, MONAI, TensorFlow, and Tableau, and have completed numerous data science and web development projects. I thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments and am passionate about leveraging data to drive innovation and solve complex challenges.
