I am experienced professional with 6 years of experience in design and construction field.
I completed Masters in Construction Engineering and Management from Concordia University. Apart from this I have practical knowledge of Microsoft projects, Primavera, MS office, Bluebeam Revu, STAAD Pro, SAFE, ETABS with profound knowledge of ISO 9001:2015. Also, I am open to relocation and I possess valid drivers’ license from Canada so I am open to field jobs as well.
Prior to masters, I completed bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 2014 followed by work experience at multinational companies like L&T-Sargent and Lundy, Reliance Industries Ltd and at Municipal Corporation level where I gained knowledge of practical usage of American and Indian codes and standards and software for analysis and design of different types of structure. The role included providing technical assistance to superintendents, creating the master plan of the projects, tentative and accurate cost estimation, develop design standards, scope of work followed by design of different types of structures including pipe rack, foundation, retaining wall, to name a few for Thermal and gas based Power plants and Refinery projects. Also, continuous monitoring of the project at various levels, accommodating risks in case of conflicts in schedule, technical documentation, frequent site visits along with tracking of transmittals, and RFIs was performed.
I have delivered large scale projects valued at several million dollars and demonstrated cross functional team building capabilities.
Additionally, I support Society of Women Engineers as a volunteer. And I am on Post graduate work permit in Canada.
