With over two decades of experience spanning student leadership, policy and advocacy, marketing, creative writing, and the performance and visual arts, I’ve built a career defined by creativity, adaptability, and strategic leadership. I began as President of the Fanshawe Student Union, where I managed a multi-million-dollar operating budget and led teams of student leaders, staff, and volunteers while overseeing campus services and initiatives.
My career later evolved into the arts, performing stand-up, improv, and sketch comedy, and exhibiting visual work across North America and Europe. Alongside my artistic practice, I’ve worked in marketing and operations, including managing growth and logistics for a micro-mobility startup. A quick learner and hands-on problem solver, I move seamlessly between disciplines, writing code as confidently as crafting a stage play.
For over a year, I have worked as an Administrative Specialist at Joyride, a micro-mobility startup, where I manage shipping logistics, invoicing, and HR initiatives such as onboarding and employee engagement events. Previously, I worked as a Commercial Artist for Moss & Lam, applying my artistic background to design and produce murals, sculptures, and custom furniture.
Before that, I gained extensive experience in student government through roles at the OCAD Student Union, the University of Guelph Student Union, and the Fanshawe Student Union. My work ranged from serving as Union President, overseeing operations and governance, to leading advocacy efforts at the provincial level, managing social media communications, and coordinating campus events.
I began my post-secondary journey studying marketing, earning a Business–Marketing diploma from Fanshawe College. I then expanded my creative and performance skills through a Comedy Writing and Performance diploma from Humber College, followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University.
