I am a master student in economics at the University of Sherbrooke. My skills are based on: exploitation and analysis of economic databases, the use of econometric predictive models as well as micro-macroeconomic issues.
My professional experiences all have one thing in common: data analysis. During these experiences, I constantly relied on my background in economics in order to better extract the required information. Through my university education, I have acquired a solid foundation in economic issues, particularly those related to development economics.
My dual training in economics and data analysis allowed me to develop data mining and economic/econometric analysis techniques. Specifically, I learned how to build and explore a database based on a given economic problem. At the same time, I developed the ability to search for relevant articles (according to their weight in the literature) in order to do a literature review.
