I am 22 years of age and am a decendant of Cree and Anishinabe. I have been brewing coffee at home
My professional experience providing fast consumable products began when I was 17.
Firstly I've, worked at McDonald's for nearly two years, in The Pas, MB. Shortly after, I've gained employment at Pizza Hut Express, also in The Pas. Halfway through my McDonald's and Pizza Hut employment, I began Freelancing for Companies and small Government who provide Cultural Support Services. Jordan's Principle, IRS Cultural Support, Joe A Ross School, Opaskwayak Cree Nation, Norway House Cree Nation, Sagkeeng First Nation, and Pine Creek First Nation, to name a few.
At this current date, I am employed at Pine Creek Gas Bar as a security guard, working since February 2021. I am also negotiating with my manager to allow myself to brew and serve coffee-to-go.
My most recent education was at Assiniboine Community College from 2020 to 2021. I have taken basic lessons such as English Language Arts and Mathematics. I have very much enjoyed math class where my grades have exceeded my own expectations. I have achieved my education at a Grade 11 level.
As of recently I've been attempting online courses and I'm proud to say I've gained a certificate in Espresso Coffee Fundamentals. It is a 45 minute course with 15 lessons. It provided much wisdom; which I've been implementing into my current coffee brewing practices, at home.
