I was born in Ontario and moved to New Brunswick when I was only 9 years old. I spent most of my childhood between New Brunswick and Alberta and into adulthood. My young family and I moved to Nova Scotia in 2015.

I returned to school and completed my degree. I accepted a contract position in Bedford, NS as an HR Coordinator. I received an offer to make the role permanent, with a promotion to HR Manager. I since received a second promotion to HR Manager for all NS operations, and I am currently still in the role looking after approximately 150 employees across 2 locations.
