Brooke Steele

I am presently unemployed and a student at UFV seeking employment within the animal industry; I have considerable experience with dog grooming, animal handling, clerical and booking work, data entry, customer service (phone and in person), and other miscellaneous skills, and would be an asset in any veterinary or grooming position.

Over the years I have been employed in office positions, call center positions, and retail positions, with my last employment at a corporate grooming salon grooming approximately 5 or 6 dogs per day, top to bottom. This has allowed me to amass a considerable amount of experience in a variety of areas, with notable expertise in dog handling and customer service.

I have had formal corporate training in dog grooming, as well as past and present university studies in many disciplines, with psychology and english being principle areas of interest. I have also completed programs certifying myself as a nursing unit clerk and as a medical laboratory assistant (phlebotomy) in the human health care realm, securing a medical knowledge base into my existing experience and skills (though I was unable to find a job in either field, despite being at the top of my classes).
