My career journey started in Uganda where I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Population Studies and several certifications including “Gender-Based Violence Prevention”, “Community-Based Reproductive Health”, and “Social Media for Health Development”.
In Uganda, I worked as a Communications Advisor and Assistant with the “Global Network of Young People Living with HIV”, “MenEngage Gender Equality Network”, and “Reproductive Health Uganda - Right Here Right Now”. In 2019, and 2020, I was recruited as a Guest Speaker for the International AIDS Conferences, and I attended the 2022 Conference in Montreal, Quebec.
In the summer of 2022, I relocated to Toronto, and since that time have been involved with PWA using my communication and social media expertise to support healthcare advocates and members by editing the monthly newsletter, creating videos for in-house training, and designing materials for marketing and educational awareness.
In 2023 I am seeking employment projects where I can use my passion to support social change as a proud member of the BIPOC newcomer community. If you are seeking a team member who will exceed your expectations, message me today to see how my skills can match your needs.
