As the filmmaker in a family of magicians, video has always been my preferred medium of performance. But just because I have traded in my magic wand for a camera, doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy filling audiences with wonder, awe, and a little bit of mystery. I am a creative and versatile filmmaker with over 10 years of experience directing, filming, and editing a wide range of audiovisual content including documentaries, short films, commercials, and music videos.
Having successfully led production teams, developed compelling narratives, and executed projects from concept to completion, everything I do is overflowing with meticulous care. In film, you are faced with the challenge of sewing the tapestry of every creative endeavor with threads of passion, persistence, and a little bit of magic. From film festivals to renowned museum exhibitions, I am honored to have used visual art to connect with people from around the globe and am excited to start my new adventure in Canada.
Since 2016, I’ve produced music videos, documentaries, and corporate promotional content, collaborating with important institutions, brands, and people such as CasAzul, Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), Channel 14, Universidad Panamericana, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Teleton, David Beckham, Harley Davidson, Sigma Photo, Ascent On-Demand, and GM Financial. My visual art has been exhibited at the Soumaya Museum, ADN Gallery, and the National Museum of San Carlos. I’ve spent a lot of my time over the years operating complex video recording equipment, video transmission equipment, and specialized cameras.
My solid experience in directing, cinematography, and video editing has led me to curate a notable, unique, and creative vision with a hands-on approach in all stages of production.
I have worked with different cameras and brands like Sony, Red, Canon, Nikon, Arri and Z cam and have experience working with all kinds of projects, from big productions to small commercial videos. I have also worked as a one-man-band videographer in some projects from documentaries to social media content. I enjoy working in a variety of formats.
Not only have I gotten to work on the aforementioned projects, but I have also had the opportunity to inspire the next generation of creatives. Since 2021, I have been Head of Technology and Communications at French Woods Sports and Arts Center, a sleep away camp in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Here, I was tasked with handling equipment for shows and performances, producing content for the camp, and managing/supervising staff members in my department.
I have also been a professor of film and photography at Colegio Anglo Mexicano Coyoacan for over a year, teaching aspiring artists foundational skills such as responsibly caring for camera equipment, adjusting key camera settings, editing, and the roles of different lenses, lights, and filters.
Having studied at the Diego Rivera Artistic Education Center (CEDART), I have over 10 years of experience working on feature films, short films, music videos, commercials, and multimedia.
