I have several years experience in supporting youths through organizing educational and community-building events, as well as through one-on-one peer support. I have extensive training and experience to respond to medical emergencies and mental health crises. I enjoy experiences that allow both me and the ones I interact with to grow divergently.
I've worked at helping professions for the majority of my life. It started as being a residence advisor at UBC, helping first-year students with a smooth transition from high school to university. After that, I worked as a program resource centre advisor, helping residence advisors acquire resources for their dorms such as event posters and decorations. Presently, I'm working as a youth esports coach and a program leader for Jericho Kids Club, supporting children with developing social emotional skills.
I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology, as well as a minor in interpersonal development in the department of education. I'm also currently studying for a CompTia A+ certification.
