My name is Carter. I am a recent graduate of MacEwan University where I completed my Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mathematical Sciences (Statistics & Computer Science). Throughout my degree, I developed a real passion for data analysis and being able to tell stories and make decisions based on numbers.

My degree has helped me to cultivate values such as accountability, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving field. I am particularly enthusiastic about embracing new challenges and technologies, and I thrive on the opportunity to expand my knowledge by readily adapting to and mastering new programs, software, and techniques.

In addition, my experience in sports teams for more than 16 years helped polish my leadership, communication, responsibility, and commitment skills.

I am looking for an opportunity to put my skills to use help ensure success for the organization, my coworkers and myself.

My professional experience comes from multiple extracurricular projects completed under PhD professors at MacEwan University. Through such, I gained experience with different programming languages and programs such as R, SQL, SPSS, and Python as well as different libraries often used in data science and visualization such as ggplot2, knitr, lattice, and dplyr.

I also have experience creating RMarkdown reports for the clients through the completion of these consulting projects which required me to report scientific findings to a nonscientific audience. The successful completion of these projects also required and strengthened time management, effective teamwork, creative problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills.

A Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Mathematical Sciences from MacEwan University. I took courses related to database management, data analysis and statistical methodology.
