Cassandra Morrison

I love working with animals. I've been raised around various pets including but not limited to dogs, cats, rabbits, parrots, chinchillas, ferrets, other small mammals, etc. I spent most of my early career working with children where I learned how to think outside of the box, to be patient and understanding.

Although I enjoyed being able to make a difference in children's lives and those of their families I am now looking to foster my other passion which is animal care, specifically the care of dogs.

I have two of my own medium sized dogs that I am responsible for, including their training and care.

Kennel Assistant at Beastmaster Farms (2025-01 – Present)

• Communicate with dog owners regarding activities and concerns
• Handle cash transactions and e-transfers as needed
• Collaborate with staff to create a positive experience for people and dogs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennel
• Feed/water dogs and give medication according to owner's instruction
• Make sure all dogs get adequate time outside in the dog run and on walks
• Provide one-on-one attention for all dogs
• Monitor and communicate behaviours of dogs in the kennel
• Ensure administrative duties are completed
• Hire and train new staff

Homemaker at Self-Employed (2022-01 – 2025-01)

• Managed household budget and identified cost saving opportunities for 4 individuals
• Managed appointments and schedules for two children under the age of ten
• Coordinated with others on special dates and evets
• Organized, planned, and executed weekly outings
• Maintained an organized house and play space
• Responsible for house cleaning schedule and maintaining it
• Caring for and training two medium – large dogs
