I am currently a university student studying psychology and mathematics. I plan to pursue further studies in educational psychology once I have completed my undergraduate degrees. I work part-time as a community support worker while in school and I am looking for another job for the summer months.
Support Worker (December 2024 - Present) - Work to support a young woman with a developmental disability. Drive her from her home to her place of work. Work to support her while she carries out various tasks on the job. The support provided includes prompting her to continue or complete her tasks, as well as ensuring she has what she needs throughout her shift.
Kitchen Staff at Argos Bar Bistro (June 2024 - October 2024) - Worked as a prep and line cook, contributing to an organized and well-prepared kitchen. Ensured the kitchen was well stocked and prepared for evening service. Contributed to customer experience by sending out quality dishes quickly.
Kitchen Staff at Mangia E Scappa Italian Foods (June 2022 - May 2024) - Contributed to a clean, organized, and well-prepared kitchen. Helped to prep the line for the evening and completed other food prep. Worked on the line to prepare and plate pastas alongside the chef. Also helped out with salads, desserts, and pizzas when it was busy, working as part of a team.
Camp Counselor at Stepping Stones Bible Camp (July 2022, July 2023) - Contributed to a safe and fun camper experience by taking care of and interacting with campers. Was responsible for six campers alongside my co-counselor, ensuring that they were safe and taken care of throughout the week at camp.
