I'm a 2A Systems Design Engineering Student at the University of Waterloo with a passion for design!
I was granted the opportunity to work as a UX Design Intern at Nanoleaf for my first professional co-op position. Through this experience, I was able to experience the development of end-to-end UX, including direct experience conducting moderated user tests, contributing to the growing design system, high fidelity prototypes, and using various design strategies to improve the user experience. Through my most recent co-op as Full-stack developer at CI Technologies, I was able to experience the implement side of the development cycle, which granted me knowledge in the limitations and methods of implementing my own designs.
As a 2nd year Systems Design Engineering student attending the University of Waterloo, I have gained proficiency in considering the human factors of design, using various strategies to improve user experience (such as stakeholder maps), and working successfully in a team.
