For the past 7 years, I have Employer Engagement Specialist with Nova Scotia Works, working closely with employers, job seekers, community and government partners to support recruitment, workforce planning, and hiring solutions. My role focuses on building strong employer relationships, identifying workforce needs, and connecting organizations with qualified talent across multiple sectors.
I also bring over 18 years of overseas experience in training, learning and development, and curriculum design, including 7 years in the oil and gas industry. I am a TAFE-certified Trainer and Assessor, with a strong foundation in adult learning, instructional design, and competency-based training. My combined experience in HR-focused employer engagement and technical training allows me to bridge the gap between workforce development strategy and practical implementation in the field.
