Welcome, my name is Chelsea Speak. I have a background in Special Education. I was formerly employed with School District #36 for over seven wonderful years. Many years prior to working in the school district, I was employed with a family as their ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) worker. I cared for children from the age of two years to the age of twelve years old.
In my past I have worked in Customer Service with several company’s such as Safeway, Payless Shoes, City of Surrey and most recently The Walt Disney Company. I worked with the Walt Disney Company remotely working on products such as Movies Anywhere and Disney Movies Insiders. I am creative and reliable. I work comfortably alone as well as in a team setting. I love a challenge of experiencing new opportunities to grow within a company. I am always energetic and eager to accomplish my daily tasks.
I am looking forward to my next adventure in the work field, as I am a dependable hard-working employee who takes initiative and prides herself on the outcome of her work.
My education background is in Special Education Assistance. I was employed with School Disctrict #36 for seven years. I was responsible for following the students education plans and taking care of their health and well-being throughout the school day.
Formerly employed with the Walt Disney Company. I worked remotely as a Viewer Experience Advocate. I worked on products such as Movies Anywhere, Disney Movie Insiders, and ESPN. I was responsible for helping guests over the phone, through email and chat support.
Several years ago, I worked as an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) support worker. I was a team lead for a family, working one on one with their child with Autism. I ran programs and kept data of how the programs were running with myself and other employees.
In my past I worked for the City of Surrey, as a program instructor. I ran classes such as toddler basketball, ballet and Youth soccer programs. I was responsible for the care and well-being of up to twelve children at a time. I taught summer camps and swim programs within the city.
I have experience of over three years working with Payless shoes. I worked as a Key Holder for the company at the age of seventeen. They gave me the responsibility for opening and closing as well as cashing out the store. I helped train new employees within the company at the Langley location.
My very first job within high school was working at Safeway. I was responsible for the cleanliness of the store, bagging groceries, gathering carts and taking out the trash.
