I come with eight years of experience writing and editing for online and offline publications, including six years as a digital content editor for Greenpeace International. My role there involved creating, curating and editing multimedia campaign posts to help Greenpeace reach an international audience of five million supporters.
Having lived in five different countries, I moved to Canada in 2020 to deepen my understanding of Indigenous issues and live in the forest.

During my fellowship and subsequent freelancing experience at The Local, I worked on compelling digital news stories of national significance for English-speaking immigrants to Sweden. I learned the value of rigorous local reporting and filed daily breaking news within the hour and feature stories within a day.
While studying for a Master's of Journalism at the University of British Columbia one of the first stories I co-published was an (award-nominated) investigative piece that tracked an invisible biomass pipeline from the forests of British Columbia to a furnace in the U.K..
I won a spot on the Emmy-award-winning Global Reporting Program and produced an award-winning multimedia story on ageing.
I also have a Bachelor's (with honours) in English Literature from the University of Warwick in the U.K.
