At this company my responsibilities varied, I would not only take customers orders on either the drive thru and in the front of the store, but make their food whether it was hamburgers or fries, and I would occasionally cook the patties required for the hamburgers. I have worked for this company since October of 2021 and have been trained on opening and closing the store. I am very close to the general manager of this location that when I go down to visit family in Sudbury the general manager will let me pick up a shift or two to make a little extra money.

CO-OP in High School at Extendicare Nursing Home (2023-09 – 2024-02)
During my grade 12 year I did a CO-OP at the nursing home Extendicare in Sudbury where I would follow around PSW's and watched them perform care on residents as well as following around activity aids and assisting with the various activities planned for the residents. If they needed help with feeding in the mornings at breakfast I would help with handing out the food and feeding residents that aren't able to feed themself. Doing this CO-OP demonstrated how hard the PSW's work everyday with all the residents they need to take care of and it taught me better patience.
Clinical placement for Canadore college at Casselholme Nursing Home (2025-09-04 – 2025-10-10)
My first clinical placement in the RPN program was at casselholme and it made me fall in love with working nursing homes. Although I would do PSW work I absolutely loved it, I would assist with feeding various residents, perform bed baths, take vital signs at the beginning of each placement day on my residents, change briefs, porter residents around the nursing home, have 1 on 1 visits with residents, etc. This placement taught me better patience with the elderly and has taught me better communication skills as I would have to work with different nursing staff throughout the shift.
Clinical placement for Canadore College at Northern Heights Nursing home (2025-10-23 – 2025-12-05)
This placement was by far my favourite so far the staff and residents were all amazing, I would do the same things that I did at Casselholme except at this placement I would either assist in the shower room/bathtub room or help my residents take a shower and bath, I would perform head to toe assessments on both of my residents, take vital signs, change the briefs, assist and perform PM care on residents, help porter residents to the dining room for dinner and then assist with feeding, I am lift certified as I would have to lift my residents into and out of bed as well as assist PSW's with lifting and transferring their residents into and out of bed.
