Chris Whelan is a young filmmaker with experience as an editor, videographer, writer and director. After growing up in Georgetown, he moved to Toronto in order to pursue an education at Humber College in Media Production.
Chris places an emphasis on reliability in his work ethic and his original projects are heavily focused on creativity and the creative process. He makes an effort to write most of his own short films, or to add his own flavour to other scripts.
Aside from filmmaking, Chris has found success as an Editor for DRC video and as a Grip with IATSE local 873. In his free time, Chris enjoys watching film, travelling the city, songwriting and playing guitar.
Chris has extensive experience with various editing software for both video and audio including Avid, Premiere, DaVinci, ProTools, Reaper and After Effects. Chris has also gained considerable on-set experience since 2020 as a Grip.
