• Performed tasks as a Quality Control field inspector for the turnaround and projects group. Followed approved inspection test plans as per approved QC manual. Created work turnover packages to document and record all turnaround activities as required by the client work request (i.e. weld/heat maps, MTR's etc.) Witnessed final bolt ups on exchangers and critical path piping systems (i.e. Hydraulic and hand torquing)
• Coordinated, monitored, witnessed and evaluated the execution of all NDE, Hydro testing and heat treatment on the turnaround. This included writing and documenting requests as per code and Inspection test plans.
• Verified WPS compliance and welder qualifications; inspected weld fit-up, joint preparation, material verification, and welding consumable control.
