Hi. I am excited to introduce myself, in hopes that you will consider me for a summer position. My name is Connor MacNeil and I am about to enter into my fourth year at Saint Mary’s University. My first passion, since I was young, is computers. I’ve always had a serious fascination with them, and love learning anything and everything I can. I am completing my Undergraduate in Science, majoring in Computer Science.
I have also always enjoyed Physics, and Astronomy, and had originally thought about studying Astrophysics; however ultimately I feel strongly that my strengths in Computer Science will be something I can spend my career truly enjoying.
Some examples of credits that I have successfully completed are:
I have experience working with computer programming languages such as Java, Python, C, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In addition, I have worked with Git, GitHub, Node.js and JSON. My education and experience also includes knowledge of operating systems and applications of this knowledge such as using Linux terminal and VIM, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.
