I am a Lead Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS and CIQS - PQS) with over 12 years of experience undertaking projects in a variety of sectors within Africa and the UK in both Consultancy and Construction environments. My experience ranges from MEP appointments, Mining & Infrastructure, Rail, Civil Works, and Construction Projects both in the Commercial and Public sectors.

Previously held roles as the Telkom South Africa and Anglo American Kumba Iron Ore Commercial Lead which required robust strategic and technical solutions. I have worked with various other clients such as Passenger Rail Company of South Africa (PRASA), Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) and Gautrain Management Agency (GMA)
My experience includes estimating and feasibility, cost advice, cost planning, procurement, value engineering, cost control, cost management and contracts management. I have experience with the FIDIC, NEC, GCC, and JBCC suite of Contracts.
I have acted within MMQSMace as a Project Lead managing various teams on Mining, Telecommunications, Industrial Infrastructure and Rail Projects and responsible for ensuring that teams comply with the provisions of the awarded Contracts, making day to day decisions necessary for the efficient performance of the Contract and Preparation of Project Execution Plans (PEP) and ensuring compliance with quality standards, methods and procedures for various clients.
Director and Lead Cost Consultant at Quant Group on various infrastructure and building projects as well as on the HS2 Project (as part MaceYMR cost consulting team) as the technical lead cost consultant mainly responsible for monitoring the bill production, technical review and implementation of quality management systems.
