Danil Ryzhan

Hello, my name is Danylo Ryzhan, and I am a Software Engineer based in Toronto. I recently completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in Kyiv, Ukraine. During my education, I gained a solid foundation in computer programming, software engineering, algorithms, and data structures. I focused on learning the .NET Framework, including C# programming, ASP.NET, and MVC. I have participated in several group projects that involved collaborating with other students to design and develop software solutions.

My skills include programming languages such as C#, TypeScript, and JavaScript, frameworks such as .Net Core, Entity Framework, React, JQuery, and Bootstrap, and other technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC, CSS/HTML, Visual Studio, ASP.NET Web API, Language Integrated Query (LINQ), Agile, GitHub, JSON and XML, Azure, Jira, GraphQL, Unit tests, and RESTful. I am fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.

I have designed and developed various projects, including a social media platform that allowed users to create profiles, connect with friends, and share photos and messages using ASP.NET, C#, React, and SQL Server, and a web application for an e-commerce company that allowed customers to browse and purchase products online, integrated with a payment gateway for secure online transactions using ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server.

I have experience working as a Junior .Net Developer at Polytech Software in Kyiv, Ukraine, from February 2019 to February 2023. During my time there, I debugged and resolved 100+ complex technical issues within the software applications, resulting in a reduction in system downtime. I collaborated with other developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure project requirements were met on time and within budget. I also conducted 30+ code reviews and provided feedback to improve the quality of the code. One of my major projects involved helping the development of a sports betting platform that enabled users to place bets on various sports events. I assisted in designing and developing the platform's front-end and back-end systems using .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server. Additionally, I fixed bugs on both the backend (.Net) and frontend (React).

I graduated from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in Kyiv, Ukraine, with a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in September 2022. During my studies, I gained a solid foundation in computer programming, software engineering, algorithms, and data structures.
