I have spent 39 years in heavy industry, starting in a plywood plant, sawmills, OSB mills, Mining and industrial wood pellet manufacture. I moved into a maintenance career in 1995, starting a millwright apprenticeship in 1996. I have skill set ranging from machine maintenance to Maintenance superintendant in a 100 million dollar wood pellet facility.
Staring in a plywood plant in operations I have progressed into maintenance as a millwright apprentice. I have advanced from a lead hand role, maintenance supervisor to a maintenance superintendant role.
4 years at the college of New Caledonia in Prince George BC. Completing a Red seal millwright program.
