I am Postdoctoral Fellow in Public Health from Sri Lanka, worked at the Center for Global Health Research unit, St. Michael's hospital, Toronto for 2 years duration as a research fellow. I was employed as Consultant Community Physician, at the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka over 10 years.

I worked as a Family Physician over 10 years duration and having experience in working in Ophthalmology, General Medicine, Gastroenterology, medical administration.

I was a medical columnist for weekly newspapers and several medical publications in Public health.
