Denise Cheng

Hi my name is Denise, I am a Business Management co-op student at Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson University). I am going into my 4th year majoring in Global Management Studies with a minor in Finance. I am currently looking for a part time position while completing my studies.

I have completed two co-op terms at RBC Capital Markets in the positions of Regulatory Analyst and Policy & Quality Control Data this past Summer and Fall. As a regulatory analyst, I managed business-as-usual activities by organizing the Outlook mailbox into subfolders and ensuring all mailbox inquiries were responded to within 24 hours. During my role as Policy and Quality Control, Documented and drafted policy and governance procedures while also modernizing and refining older procedure documents for 100% accuracy and consistency. I have also worked with the City of Toronto for a number of years for different positions such as Customer Service Representative, Camp Counsellor, After School Program Leader, and Wading Pool Attendant. These roles I helped serve the community at different community centres, and as well as patrons from the ages of 5-13 years old. I have also been a server at Druxy's Deli for a seasonal position.

I am currently studying at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson University) in the program Business Management as a 4th year student. I am majoring in Global Management Studies and obtaining a minor in Finance.
