Marketing & Sales Operations

• Developed and coordinated the retail portion of Community Foundation for Children campaign at Canada Post since 2014. The Foundation raised more than $ 1 million in 2019, exceeding its fundraising target by more than $200,000.
• Developed and coached a high performing team of 3 officers to execute complex in-store Marketing plans for a network of 5,000 stores staffed by 15,000 employees. Developed and implemented quarterly product sales publications and support tools.
  • Coordinated and managed a Direct Ship Sales channel.

    Direct

    Ship allows customers to order product(s), pay for it at the post office and have it shipped to an address of their choice. This program generated more than $7.5 million in 2014 & 2015.

• Managed partner relationships with Jean Coutu, Staples, Costco, Royal Canadian Mint, Purolator, Uniprix and Shoppers Drug Mart.
• Successfully managed operating budgets in keeping with the established corporate sourcing management policies and procedures and in keeping with established guidelines.

Negotiations & Procurement 

• Created the scope of work for the Digital signage RFP in partnership with Innovapost in 2022. Coordinated the Digital signage content management system deployed in over 800 post offices. 
• Negotiated and obtained approvals and funding from internal and external functional business units to execute several marketing and merchandising programs in support of product launches.
• Successfully negotiated an agreement with the Royal Canadian Mint for the acquisition of funding, to be applied to the purchase of glass display showcase fixtures in select post offices resulting in 26% sales increase of coin products in 2012.
• Obtained approvals and funding to conduct several Market Research studies to measure the effectiveness of product and service offerings and new technologies.

Project Management & Innovation

• Coordinated multidisciplinary teams whose project mandate was to implement new Post Offices.

  Designed new work estimates and procedures to effectively execute projects. Some projects received design awards (Retail Chain Store magazine, VSMD magazine, Retail Council of Canada). 

• Developed and implemented a smart phone product order application for Sales District Managers. The applications, used to place emergency orders, generates $2.5 million in annual sales.
• Implemented a promotional coupon process leveraging the Retail Point of Sale (RPS) system in post offices.

  The RPS is programmed to print coupons by customizing the messaging that appears on retail receipts based on the customer’s purchase behaviour or demographic location.

• Implemented quarterly product sales targets for 6,000 post offices fully automated through SAP. A progress sales bar was added to the Point of sales’ Dashboard to enable individual post offices to track their performance against their target.
  • Implemented an efficient automated internal Web based ordering process for new post office openings (complete store order fulfillment for opening stock including products, signage and operational supplies).
• Implemented a Quarterly Mystery Shop program that measured the customer shopping experience in more than a 1,000 retail locations.
