Microbiology research assistant @TWU (May 2022-June 2022)

• Assisted microbiology research in bioremediation, antibiotic tests, and biofilm. 
• Hands on experience collecting and preparing samples with appropriate staining of specimens and provided cell culture and analysis by ELISA. 
• Maintained Biosafety level 2 laboratory by carrying out proper autoclaving and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous laboratory wastes according to safety laboratory requirements.

Molecular genetics laboratory assistant @TWU (Jan 2023-Apr 2023)

• Developed electroporation and chemical transformation procedure and SOPs for DNA cloning lab session. 
• Quality control of Southern blotting, PCR, RT-qPCR, and DNA transformation experiments after DNA and RNA isolation from human samples. 
• Performed manual and automated procedures and worked effectively to collaborate with team members on troubleshooting.

Teaching assistant @TWU (Jan 2023-Apr 2023)

• Assisted lab instructor and students in molecular genetics lab class, answering student questions during lab sessions and setting up required instruments. 
• Performed general lab duties including media preparation, autoclaving, and lab upkeep keeping the lab organized.
• Followed training and SOPs received from supervisor for operating laboratory instruments.

Korean intercultural/discipleship group leader @TWU (Sept 2021-Apr 2023)

• Contributed to building a reliable community for international students and those who are interested in Korean culture. 
• Effectively worked with 5 different leaders to plan the group meetings that happened every week. 
• Introduced the campus facilities and provided help to freshmen and transfer students who are new to TWU, helping them to actively get involved in campus activities.

Sergeant @Republic of Korea Army (July 2018-Feb 2020)

• Served Republic of Korea Army for 20 months. 
• Cooked 3 meals a day for more than 200 soldiers daily without any disease outbreaks by maintaining proper sanitation status. 
• Kept great organization of the storage that contains multiple ingredients, sauce, and battle rations. Exemplary adherence to discipline in the military strictly following supervisions.

Customer service/kitchen staff @Hannam Supermarket Langley (June 2021-Aug 2021)

• Contributed to improved customer experience by providing bilingual customer support with great product knowledge. 
• Worked in the “Deli” department, cooking homemade food and maintaining the storage in an appropriate status.
