Doricas Wafula

As a dedicated Program Manager at Espoir Society, I have gained valuable experience in community support, program management, and fostering positive change. With a background in criminology/legal studies and a strong passion for social work, I am deeply committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and communities. My goal is to further my education in the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program, and I am eager to contribute my skills to a career that centers around helping others, building supportive networks, and creating sustainable programs that promote social well-being.

I am also experienced in coordinating and supporting diverse community programs, managing emails, and working collaboratively with teams to achieve goals. As an aspiring social worker, I am committed to ongoing professional growth, making a positive difference in the community, and leveraging my skills to help those in need.

I am a passionate Criminology and Legal Studies student at Douglas College, currently working as a Program Manager at Espoir Society. My experience spans leadership, community development, and social advocacy, with a focus on youth engagement and program coordination. I am skilled in strategic planning, communication, and managing both staff and volunteers.

In addition to my current role, I have a diverse background with experience as a Deputy Returning Officer at Elections Canada, a Grocery Clerk at Chalo Freshco, and a Tour Guide at the Museum of Anthropology. I am committed to creating positive impacts within communities and advocating for vulnerable populations.

I've graduated High school, and currently in College for Legal studies but want to prose a career in Social work
