Dowell Castaneda

I am a recent graduate of BCIT’s General Insurance and Risk Management program with hands-on experience in the insurance industry through my internship with Forward Insurance. During my internship, I gained experience working in insurance operations, client service, preparing and reviewing client quotations, and working in a professional insurance environment.

My BCIT program provided me with a strong foundation in commercial insurance, risk management, underwriting concepts, claims, and insurance operations. Through my coursework and practical experience, I developed strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and customer service skills.

I am now looking to begin my career in the insurance industry and am particularly interested in commercial insurance and client service. I’m eager to continue developing my technical knowledge while contributing to a professional team and providing good service to clients.
