Emma James

I am currently a student enrolled in my second year at UBC majoring in Biology. I am currently learning R programming language, am proficient with numbers, and have taken a couple classes to aid in my writing and communications skills. I am eager to work and learn in a new environment with new people, and would love to broaden my skills outside of the science community with different types of jobs. I have a couple years of customer service experience, having worked at a garden center and at a semi-private golf club. I look forward to embracing new opportunities and experiences!

I have worked at the canadian tire garden center as a sales associate, and more recently was a pro shop / back shop assistant at River Spirit Golf Club, where it was my responsibility to check in guests, preform cartaking activities, and ensure guests had what they needed to complete their round.

I have my high school diploma, in which I graduated from Ernest Manning high school in 2021 with honours. Currently, I am enrolled in my second year at UBC and am specializing as a biology major.
