Emma Wheeler

I have been nursing for the last 3 years, it has been a joy and I would like to expand my knowledge/skills further.

I have been working within the community for most of my career. Working with others, listening to stories, advocating for others, learning new skills and most of all enjoying what I do. I have a wide variety of skill sets that involve my practical experience being at Nanaimo hospital, then moving forward to mental health care, paediatric care and long term care.

My care towards clients is with the mindset of nonjudgmental, unbiased and ethical; I look at the person as a whole and assess the persons needs from there. I advocate, ask questions and work within my abilities as a nurse. I seek direction when appropriate and work well with others.

It is my goal to create a respectful, confident and well rounded environment.
