Hi, my name is Emma. I am a student that just recently graduated Jr high-school. Before I move onto high school, I want to get an early start on getting a job. Why? Because I think getting a job will help me manage my time better during high school. Working under stressful situations will help me gain a better understanding of how to work quickly and efficiently even better. I also want to make my own income so that my parent can spend the money they give me for an allowance because they deserve it.
Tough out my Jr high years I’ve gain a lot of experience working at the canteen. I would work once to twice sometimes even the full week when the lunch lady seems like she requires help. My school is an elementary and Jr high school. That is why during my eating time I help Jr highs and elementary and eat. That helped me learn how to manage my time efficiently and prioritize my needs during that short time. I also did score keeping a lot for my school teams which helped me gain team work skills and how to focus on the stressful tasks at hand.
Those were only two of the many experiences I’ve had volunteering around my school. As much as I volunteered I never expected anything back because I prioritize how whoever I’m helping feel. As long as they leave happy that all that matters.
