A seasoned telecom professional and project manager with over 11 years of experience in delivering large-scale telecommunication infrastructure projects for the energy industry. My last employment was as a Telecom/Project Engineer at ITECO/NLNG, where I supervised and coordinated various projects involving fiber optic, GSM, microwave, and TETRA technologies, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Some of my notable achievements include restoring a fire-damaged fiber line at OBOB ENI Process facility in record time, winning an award of recognition; upgrading the NLNG Port-Harcourt to Bonny Island microwave capacity with no service disruption; and achieving 100% transmission backup and 95% availability on the NLNG Bonny – BODO road fiber link/GSM project with a 15 million dollars budget. Project/Telecom Support Engineer Jan 2012 – August 2023

iTECO Nig. Limited (NLNG Project Contractors)

• Supervised and coordinated the NLNG Bonny-BODO road fibre link/GSM project with 15million dollars budget, ensuring to successfully meet the project deadline within the budget and 100% transmission backup was achieved with FOC and 95% availability was achieved on GSM service.
• Restored fire damaged fibre line at OB-OB ENI Process facility, winning an award of recognition for delivering in record breaking time while
• Supervised and coordinated NLNG Port-Harcourt to Bonny Island microwave capacity upgrade project where I and the implementation team achieved the implementation with 0% service disruption.
• Supervised the installation of DC backup battery bank for the telecom and network infrastructure at the GTS with the achievement of 24 hours autonomy time on D.C backup
• Implemented the migration project of MOTOROLA TETRA Radio from E1 to Ethernet across NLNG GTS which resulted to a 99% availability of MOTOROLA TETRA Radio service in all NLNG locations 
• Supervised the relocation of all IT/Telecoms set to the corporate head office (CHO) with no damage
• Successfully deployed Aviat CTR 8540 at NLNG Gas Transmission Station in 2016(LNG Microwave improvement/capacity upgrade), 35% Scalability was achieved as well as 99% availability and reliability of infrastructure was gained upon completion.
• Successfully deployed Aviat Eclipse radio at NLNG Gas Transmission Station (LNG Microwave improvement/capacity upgrade).
• Supervised and reported the implementation of the NLNG network improvement project in 2014, resulting in a 99% customer satisfaction rate and significant enhancements in performance, availability, and reliability, each achieving a 99% improvement.
• Supported all the infrastructure projects in the department with raising and issuance of the entire electronic permit (e-permit 8.0) and monitoring from inception to completion and closing out of e-permit, accounting for the 0% LTI.
• Updated the project documents, as built documents, and weekly updates of project meetings on SharePoint location. 
• Facilitated project progress meetings, shared minutes of meeting to all team members and stakeholders and documented minutes on SharePoint.

I.T support/Asset engineer (ITIL, CCNA, TBOSIET)

• Used Asset bridge to record inventory of all new IT/Telecom and asset issued to users within NLNG
• Successfully supervised the Implementation of fibre optic back up link within the NLNG operational base which provided 99% backup reliability on the network. 
• Responded to user IT support requests constantly achieving MTTR
• Diagnosed all user software, networking, and hardware issues achieving Zero downtime on service availability
• Constantly provided on-site and remote technical support thereby increasing customer satisfaction by 99%
• Maintained good client relations, achieving Zero churn rate
• Worked with a team of support engineers to deploy and set-up all desktop and laptop computers, and configured them for usage of network resources for all users in NLNG River State. The outcome of this project was increased work efficiency 30%
• Worked with a team of support engineers to deploy, install and configure network printers, digital senders and desktop printers etc. for all NLNG users.
• Decommissioned and relocated desktop and laptop computers, printers and scanners with 0% LTI (Lost time and Injury).
• Supervised Hewlett Packard engineers on site to ensure that all faulty HP equipment (computers, printers, scanners etc.) are fixed or replaced with 0% Man hour loss
