Fifteen days a month worked as a Diagnostic Radiographer and the other fifteen days worked in Radiation Protection Specialist.
- Operating X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images that aid in the diagnosis of various patient conditions
- Managing the radiation protection program; identifying radiation protection issues; initiating, advising, or providing corrective action; monitoring the implementation of corrective actions; stopping unsafe activities; and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Planning clothes and planning of working areas, planning for radiation protection and managing working areas
- Monitoring and supervision of working areas and working methods
- Monitoring work as necessary to ensure production complies with local laws and all copyright laws are respected
- Managing administrative tasks, communication with the supervising authority
- Providing basic training and continuing education of collaborators in radiation protection practices
- Organizing the training of the staff and implementing it commensurate with the individual's duties regarding licensed material
- Verifying every three months that the dosimeters of the employees have been read by RSB and reporting to DG
- Verifying every year or every two years if quality control and survey has been done by RURA or RSB and reporting to DG
- Preparing the Radiation Protection Program and Emergency Plan document in the hospital so that the hospital can get the license to use radiology equipments
- Coordinating education training of undergraduate and postgraduate students and encouraging professional development
- Adhering to all Health & Safety Guidelines and any Hospital and Department Protocols
- Assisting in the daily operational in radiology department
- Maintaining high standards of patient care technique and safety
