Hello! Im an undergraduate student at york university, studying fine arts. My work is combination of bronze sculpture, print media and painting. I am deeply interested in the human condition and therefore explore themes of connectivity, within one’s self, their community and natural environment.
I have worked in a foundry on projects for professional and established public sculptor artists such as Brandon Vickerd, Rhonda Weppler and Trevor Mahovsky. I have been exhibiting my works in Toronto galleries such as gallery 1313 and have had my own solo exhibition titled searching in January 2024 At the special projects gallery. Recently I have completed an Eco-Arts residency in Costa Rica with York university (May 2024).
During my last year of school at York I also worked as a sculpture studio monitor. (work/study payed position)
I’m currently in the 5th year of my special honours bachelor of fine arts at York university, specializing in bronze foundry, print media and painting. I’ve participated in 2 of the summer intensive art residencies, received 2 sculpture media awards. Alongside my solo exhibition I’ve collaborated in a 8 group exhibitions throughout my degree.
