Farabi Hasan

I am a third year undergraduate student studying a BSc honours neuroscience degree at the University of Calgary. I am very interested in the data science sector, and am hoping to break into that field with my transferable skills and grow, while also helping the organization that employs me progress further.

I completed a summer research studentship last summer at the Alberta Children's Hospital, working with fMRI and fNIRS modalities with reference to perinatal cerebral palsy patients.There, I worked with various datasets utilizing MS Excel, the Homer3 library in MATLAB, and used jamovi for statistical analysis. I currently work as a private tutor for LeRoux Studios, and have worked as a tutor for TutorBright in the past.

I am completing my honours undergraduate neuroscience degree at the University of Calgary. I have taken a number of data science-related courses such as Python and Java courses, while also having extensive experience with Microsoft Excel. I have been VP finance and VP external for a few clubs at my university, where I have been able to utilize my Excel skills to great lengths.
