Recently completed Bachelor of Earth and Environmental Science program at the University of British Columbia. Meets requirements for Geoscientist in Training with Engineers and Geoscientists BC and is awaiting application approval. Also meets requirements for Articling Agrologist with the BC Institute of Agrologists.

Has had academic experience with the Environmental Assessment Process, both the federal and B.C. provincial process, geographic information science, field techniques, and have taken courses focusing on soil science, geology, geomorphology, freshwater science, hydrogeology and more. Has some work experience in sample collection, data analysis, waste management, and GIS using ArcGIS.

• Assisted in waste reduction efforts with the RDCO. Included GIS activities using ArcMap, hosting educational events, hosting pop up depots, performing recycling bin inspections and speaking directly with the public.

• Assisted a graduate student with their research. This involved field work in a remote area of the Okanagan, and laboratory work at the university.

• Did a variety of tasks, many of which involved the use of tools and machinery such as weed whackers and lawn mowers. Had to be very safety oriented and aware of numerous job site protocols.

• Counted salmon. Cleaned and maintained a fish trap in a stream.

Okanagan Tree Fruit Cooperative – Kelowna, BC

• Printed labels, packaged boxes and checked cherries to ensure they met quality standards. Moved boxes and organized aisles to open floor space and enable forklift operators to move freely through the warehouse.

• Worked as a car detailer in which I thoroughly cleaned the interiors of cars and frequently washed and detailed the exterior of cars. Learned how to properly use many different cleaning products and machines such as polishers, carpet shampooers and more.
