As a highly motivated computer science graduate at Ontario Tech University, I am currently seeking an opportunity to join a fast-paced technology-based company or department as a full time employee. Below is a summary of the knowledge, skills and experiences I have had that will allow me to successfully contribute to your team.
Throughout my education and internships I have worked with a variety of different programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Javascript, Flutter/Dart, and SQL. I have recently just completed the final year of my five-year program. I have completed a number of courses and internships that would be a benefit to me in any job opportunity and I am currently seeking a position where I can use my skills in various programming languages and development tools to create quality software for your organization .
In addition to academic achievements, I have also used my passion for technology to obtain various internships during 2020 and 2021. I had the opportunity of completing 2 coop terms at a company called Servify where I worked as a software engineer and built, designed, and maintained the server-side of web applications built with javascript and node.js. I also had the opportunity to complete a coop term at OPG as a Data Analyst where I analyzed data to produce reports on business insights and build/maintain SQL queries.
During my undergraduate career, I was also able to obtain employment as a teaching assistant at Ontario Tech University. I was the TA for various courses including Introduction to Computer Science and Computer Architecture. Within this role, I assign students tasks to complete that relate to what they learn in lectures and answer questions related to course topics.
I have a huge interest in Machine Learning and Data Science as I am currently enrolled in the Data science specialization at my university and outside of class I have attended courses at other educational institutions including Brain Station to further my knowledge and understanding of computer science topics like machine learning.
